Based on Article 7 of the Statute of the Rhema Foundation, the Rules on the criteria and procedure for awarding grants, the Rhema Foundation announces the following:
Call for Applications
for the allocation of financial grants for the year 2025 to non-profit organizations (associations and other institutions) that promote the values established in the foundational documents of the Foundation.
1. The Rhema Foundation announces the 2025 call for applications for the allocation of financial grants to non-profit organizations (associations and other institutions) that promote these values in their activities.
- Promote Christian values
- Support the spiritual growth and formation of their members
- Foster ecumenical values and dialogue among religious communities
- Encourage a culture of dialogue, tolerance, and understanding among various social groups
- Advocate for family values
2. Along with their application for the tender, candidates are required to submit the following information:
- Name, address, and contact details of the candidate
- Description and purpose for which the funds will be used
- Overview of past work, analysis, and achieved results
- Description of activities and work plan with objectives they wish to achieve in 2025
- Financial plan for 2025
- Candidates must submit their applications prepared in the manner described above no later than December 31, 2024, via email.
3. In deciding on the allocation of funds, the Foundation will particularly adhere to the following principles:
- Principle of Evangelization – projects primarily aimed at evangelization
- Principle of Ecumenism – projects that initiate and contribute to the connection and cooperation of various Christian communities
- Principle of Ethics – projects that promote ethical behavior, especially Christian biblical values, in business and all spheres of society
- Principle of Education – projects that educate, train, and equip leaders, clergy, business people, pastors, students, and volunteers in their Christian growth and development
- Principle of Efficiency – projects that help Christians become more effective and successful in their work, including the use of EU funds and appropriate Croatian funds, as well as project collaboration with other related associations
- Principle of Holistic Development – projects that promote and advocate for the holistic development of each person in both spiritual and material senses
- Principle of Care for Our Common Home – centered on ecological conversion, based on Pope Francis’s encyclical “Laudato si.”
4. The Foundation will also be guided by the following criteria when deciding on the allocation of funds:
- Assessment of the level of needs
- Quality of the proposals and programs
- Realism and transparency of the financial assessment
- Contribution of the project to the mission and goals of the Rhema Foundation
- Availability and breadth of the evangelistic outreach through presence in the media, social networks, and church and other communities
5. Candidates must submit their applications, prepared as described above, no later than November 30, 2024, to the email zaklada@rhema.hr
